Defending America's Timeless Principles: A Patriotic Plea
Almighty God, Sovereign Ruler of the nations,
We come before Your throne of grace, humble and reverent, for You alone are worthy of our worship and praise. In this hour of testing, we lift our eyes to the hills, from where our help comes.
As the forces of darkness seek to undermine the foundations of this great land, we cry out for Your divine intervention. Strengthen the hands of our leaders, that they may govern with wisdom, discernment and an unwavering commitment to the timeless principles upon which this nation was built.
Protect our military, Lord, as they stand as sentinels on the walls, guarding our freedom. May their valor and sacrifice be a testament to the indomitable spirit of the American people. Bless their families, who bear the burden of separation, and grant them the peace that surpasses all understanding.
Revive the hearts of Your people, that we may be a shining city on a hill, a beacon of hope to a world in darkness. May a spirit of unity and purpose sweep across this land, as patriots of every creed and color stand together against the forces of tyranny and oppression.
We pray for the border, that it may be secured, and for our communities, that they may be safe havens for families to thrive. Deliver us from the scourge of illegal immigration and the dangers of sanctuary cities. May our economy be strong, our factories hum with the sound of productivity, and our people find fulfillment in honest labor.
Lord, we ask that You would raise up a standard against the onslaught of "wokeness" and the perversion of traditional values. Protect our children from the insidious lies of critical race theory and gender-affirming care. May the truth of Your Word prevail in the hearts and minds of our citizens.
In this new year, we declare our unwavering allegiance to You, the King of kings and Lord of lords. May Your will be done in America, as it is in Heaven. We trust in Your sovereign plan, and we will not be shaken.
